ABOUT US
We are a 3rd generation family owned & operated business located in the Western/Central Maine foothills of Franklin County. We are the oldest continuous family run business in Franklin County & one of the oldest in Maine.
Our venture on to Main Street in June of 2006 represents one more of the many changes the Old Country General Store has undergone over the past century. After 100+ years in Temple, Maine, we look forward to serving our customers at our Farmington location with the same quality service established by Grandfather C.F. Hodgkins from 1895 - 1940 & Father Austin (Slim) Hodgkins from 1940 - 1976.
